Minimum Skill Requirements for Maximum Benefit. 

The skills listed below are the minimum computer skills you should have as a mortgage professional and to get the most out of EZdesk tools.  

All instructions and support documents assume you have these basic skills.  If not, STOP  

We do not offer support or direct training for these minimum skills, as they are your responsibility, BUT, we provide FREE tutorials that can help you learn the basics.  They are highlighted in the list below.   Another good resource is the book "Windows for Dummies".

Basic understanding of Windows is worth $1,200 per year IF you value your time at $5.85 an hour. Learning the basics will save you at least 200 hours a year. 

If your time is worth more, well . . . ., you get the idea.  Learn the basics now. 

PLEASE, DO NOT request our support team to assist with general computer skill questions.  We have not been able to get Bill Gats to agree to pay us for teaching / supporting Windows and we're mortgage folks.  We had to read the book too.

General Computer Skills Required
  • Start the computer.

  • Log on to the internet.

  • Browse web pages.

  • Download files to the desktop.

  • Print web pages.

  • Send and receive email.

  • Attach files to email you send.

  • Retrieve attached files from email you receive.

  • Make Backups of Data and Programs

 

Windows Skills Required

 

Advance Skills - Helpful Generally Not Required.
